I was recently diagnosed with GERD, I am on Zantac and I am aware I cannot mix alcohol with my medication or disease. However, college is approaching and I would like to live my youth to the fullest and be able to drink moderately. Will I ever grow out of GERD? Are there any alternatives with medication that will allow me to drink? Thanks in advance

When researchers need to develop a drug or medication that will ultimately benefit multitudes of people, they turn to certain animals for tests and trials.

Animals have provided us with many answers regarding a vast amount of human diseases of illnesses over the years. As a famous ad once said: “They’ve saved more lives than 911.”

For those of you who are opposed to all forms of animal testing, would you please give suggestions or alternatives to these methods? I’m sure many of you already have some good ideas.

I heard it helps as a muscle relaxant but I also heard that the combination make th pain medicine work better. My father broke his neck and had to have part of his hip taken out and put in his neck to prevent future complications. He was told to take percocet and soma, but he does not like taking the Soma all the time because it puts him out and he dosn’t like that . He feels its to strong taking them both. He has to take the pain medication because of th pain and he is ok like that, but with the Soma he only takes it at night now because its too strong he says. So my question is does the soma make the pain medication stronger or is it a cobination type thing where they both work together? And could he stop taking the soma, because the doc said the they work toghether. Is there a alternative? Thank you for listening. If a profesional that works in the medical field could give me any input that would be great. best wishes,Joe
