I’ve tried Paxil and Luvox, and they have helped me a lot but not completely. Also tried Xanax, Klonopin, and Valium, but they tend to make me sleepy and are addictive. Does anyone have any other good medicines or alternatives that really calm the mind? Please share if you’ve found something that really puts you in a good state of mind, even if it is something that is not a medicine or herb, such as meditation.

My son is now 1 and has been suffering from eczema for quite some time. I have tried all the lotions, creams, and prescription medications but it only relieves it temporarily. I need ideas on more natural remedies that may be more beneficial for my son.

I’ve got Blue Cross coverage, and I can’t tell from their directory of doctors who would be more likely to have an alternative medicine leaning (in other words, if there’s a problem, the first answer isn’t just a pharmeseutical one, but might involve nutrition/natural remedies.)

Any thoughts of how to find a doctor like this? Thanks!

I wake up every morning and both of my eyes are coated in a very large amount of yellow pus. I clean them out, and then my eyes will gather build ups throughout the day, usually starting at the very tops of my upper eyelid, and then when it comes down to the corners of my eyes, I am able to clean it out. I’ve tried multiple medications for pink eye and other such antibiotics to no avail. I am able to see an eye doctor in about 3 weeks, but until then I was wondering what else could be the cause of this. To the best of my knowledge, it’s not an allergic reaction, and it doesn’t seem to be any better or any worse depending on my surroundings or anything like that. Just steady pus production in the upper part of my eyes, and after sleeping, I can see just how much is made in 6-8 hours.
