The thing is, I’m going to need some medication for sure. Is there any alternative to paroxetine based drug (paxil) that could help me, but with fewer side effects and withdrawal hell?

Hi.
I am on a medication (not a controlled substance, in this state) and I am unable to request doctor authorization due to my doctor’s vacation.
I risk seizure if I miss enough, and i’m wondering whether or not it would be possible to go to the hospital and speak with a doctor to get an emergency prescription for the next couple of days?
I know I should be more prepared, and yahoo answers is a very preliminary step, mind you, but I just wanted to know if anyone knew an alternative to doctor authorization in a “quasi-emergency?”

I’ve heard that taking decongestants with Concerta can result in heart problems and possibly heart attacks. Is this true? Also, are there alternative medications for nasal decongestants that will work just as effectively, but that will not give me a heart attack? lol
